Maybe move the stairs so they don’t point out the front door then change a few walls so you don’t see the back door from the front door,

The sunsets have been beyond spectacular lately. Like your ideas on improving the funky garage.
Thats a great street up in Olde Carlsbad. That is a true North Carolina looking home for sure. I think main issue is being a 30 years old home. Our last one we sold with Jim was exact same era and presented a lot of investment to upgrade a sizable structure to todays wants/needs when the 30 year old structure, roof, windows etc eat up all the cash flow just to keep it solid. Then you start spending on the upgrades to modernize. I like it though, that is a HOME and not just a house.
