Removing Photos From Zillow

Home buyers who value their privacy don’t like seeing their home’s photo gallery advertised on Zillow after the sale is completed. Zillow has made it easier to remove those photos!

Here are the instructions:

To add or remove photos on your home’s property page, you must claim ownership of your home’s property page and navigate to the Edit Facts screen.

  1. Sign in to your Zillow profile.
  2. Click on the profile icon, then select Your Home from the menu option.
  3. Click on the tile for your home to load the property page. If you have not already claimed your home on Zillow, please follow these steps.
  4. Once you have claimed your home, click on the Edit Facts icon from the Owner View of the property page.
  5. To add photos, click the Upload photos button under Photos & media.
  6. You will be prompted to select photo files stored on your computer to upload.
  7. To remove a photo, click on an individual photo and click Remove Photo.
  8. To rearrange photos, click on the individual photo and hold the left mouse button down. Drag any photo to the desired place in the photo grouping order.
  9. Save your changes by clicking the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

Total Bullwinkle. Those photos are forever. One of our rentals not ever on Zillpukes is now covered by those Zildoes using the listing agent’s photos despite clear copyright ownership violation.

It doesn’t matter. Those photos are forever. Law enforcement, tax assessors, other clever thieves, all have a record of the interior.

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, I don’t seem to have an option to remove photos, even though I have properly claimed ownership of my house’s entry. Which may not be a problem, because the photos of my house on Zillow…aren’t actually of my house!

A couple years ago, some agent listed a home with the same address as mine on Redfin which was then propagated to Zillow, but it was supposed to be for NORTH [street_name], not South where my house is located. I tried contacting both Zillow and Redfin, as well as the listing agent, to get it corrected, to no avail. Even the home facts got screwed up, which at least I was able to correct, but the photos remain. The sales history is inaccurate too.

So now my Zillow entry shows photos of some charming 1920s bungalow instead of my 60s-era ranch. Must be confusing to anyone trying to case the joint!

That’s funny Brian! Thanks for contributing!

This doesn’t work. There is not option to edit/remove photos. Just add photos.

Oh you are talking about Zillow. Don’t be surprised that they change their tactics regularly – they are known for that.

I did this. I deleted every photo. However, when I go to “public view” or sign out and view the property anonymously, the pictures are still there. Doesn’t work.
