It is sad how much faith and confidence people put into the zestimates when they are so manufactured and phony. But now that everyone trusts everything they see on the internet, we deserve what we get.

This always happens, and I’m surprised they haven’t been sued. Are they deliberately scheming, or are their algorithms (or engineers) simply incompetent?
No you can’t say they are incompetent because that implies that they don’t know any better.
They are deliberately changing their zestimates to be close to the actual list prices so they look good.
Their inaccuracies are large and embarrassing. If the public knew, they would be aghast!
But Zillow has become too big. Consumers rely on these like they are truthful – but they are far from it.
It’s one of the biggest frauds ever perpetuated on real estate consumers.
