Seasonality is not a major factor in this market as the buyers are investors and first time home buyers (very similar dynamic to last fall). The number of distressed sellers will stay about the same as well, since there doesn’t seem to be much seasonality to NODs/NOTs. Congress will at least extend the $8,000 housing credit, with a chance of making it $15,000 to anyone.
Therefore, the market is going to be very similar to what it is today.

*Pleading* Com’on JordanT, the least you can do is take one for the bubbleinfo team! Now we don’t get the chance to hear a terrific JtR story on what happened at the Charger game.

I won the side bet to the Padres, so there’s definitely still a chance for a Rob Dawg/JtR News at 11 story this winter. I will make a note that last year at around this time I predicted more NOT’s than sales and was completely wrong. Maybe I’m just always wrong, but since I said everything will be the same the opposite of that is everything staying the same. Something to think about 🙂
