We have known Jim & Donna Klinge for over a dozen years, having met them in Carlsbad where our children went to the same school. As long time North County residents, it was a no- brainer for us to have the Klinges be our eyes and ears for San Diego real estate in general and North County in particular. As my military career caused our family to move all over the country and overseas to Asia, Europe and the Pacific, we trusted Jim and Donna to help keep our house in Carlsbad rented with reliable and respectful tenants for over 10 years.
Naturally, when the time came to sell our beloved Carlsbad home to pursue a rural lifestyle in retirement out of California, we could think of no better team to represent us than Jim and Donna. They immediately went to work to update our house built in 2004 to current-day standards and trends — in 2 short months they transformed it into a literal modern-day masterpiece. We trusted their judgement implicitly and followed 100% of their recommended changes. When our house finally came on the market, there was a blizzard of serious interest, we had multiple offers by the third day and it sold in just 5 days after a frenzied bidding war for 20% above our asking price! The investment we made in upgrades recommended by Jim and Donna yielded a 4-fold return, in the process setting a new high water mark for a house sold in our community.
In our view, there are no better real estate professionals in all of San Diego than Jim and Donna Klinge. Buying or selling, you must run and beg Jim and Donna Klinge to represent you! Our family will never forget Jim, Donna, and their whole team at Compass — we are forever grateful to them.
I’ve been a fan of bubbleinfo for over 5 1/2 years and there’s a reason. In that time, I’ve learned Jim’s integrity really stands out in a field where honesty may be difficult to find, and he really puts his clients’ needs first–whether buyers or sellers. The countless positive client testimonials are proof of that.
How helpful is JtR? He gave me excellent advice when I moved from CA. I wasn’t even a client and he STILL helped me. That’s just the kind of guy Jim is…
i think people assume you’re too busy for them because you do so much. they don’t know that the client always comes first for you, and that the website and the videos, and everything else they’re seeing, is stuff you do after your clients have been taken care off. you don’t sit around playing candy crush waiting for the phone ring, you go out and find something to do. it reminds me of the old saying, “if you want something done, give it to a busy person”
I’ve been following the bubbleinfo blog since we moved to San Diego almost two years ago. We’re renting right now because in our case it’s actually cheaper to rent the house we’re in now than to buy it, especially at current prices.
So, we’re just saving up for that 20% and once we’re ready to pull the trigger, Jim’s going to be our first call to get good help! Which should be in about another year or so.
Unless we hit the PowerBall, in which case our call will come sooner! LOL!
Thank you for the kind thoughts! And yes jose, I am still a part-time blogger, fitting in a few posts here and there between work.
